solved all my contact problems! Mar 09, 2010
I was having serious issues with my contacts until a great eye doctor finally suggested that it's probably the contact solution (not the actual contacts) that I was sensitive to. Your basic, "all-in-1" contact solutions are actually filled with preservatives and don't actually CLEAN your contacts. They just sort of sit in this solution. Well....clear care actually cleans so well you can see it working! (It's hydrogen peroxide) Anyway, it's wonderful, and I can wear contacts all day long without any issues now. I highly recommend it...

Pros
-It works very well

-You can see it working, it bubbles.

Cons
-You can't use a flat lens case you have to use the case that comes with clear care and it requires a lot more solution than a flat case. They sell 2 oz bottles but that will only last around a week.

- Contacts have to be soaked for 6 hours (The warning "do not put unneutralized solution in your eyes" is printed on the box and bottle a total of 11 times because it has peroxide in it and if you do use it unneutralized it will sting.)

Overall:
It's a good product that works well. Read all of the warnings and instructions before using and don't use it for less than 6 hours. Also keep in mind that you will run out of this product at least three times sooner than a product that uses a flat case. I like this product but I also buy products that do not require the six hours just in case if i need to wash my contacts or take them out for less than six hours.

Best Solution I have Ever Used Feb 03, 2010
After going through all the different contact solutions over eight years, I found out about Clear Care in the past year. I have to say, this solution has worked the best with my contact lens. I can wear my contacts from the moment I wake up until the moment I go to sleep without discomfort. In addition, I have been using my 2 week disposable contacts for about 2 months (I would not recommend this, I am waiting for my new contacts, just got lazy), and I still can wear them from the time I wake up till I sleep without discomfort. I also realized it helps to rinse the contacts a little after putting them in the dome, before putting them in their container. Sure this solution may be more expensive, but I believe it has improved the longevity of my contact lens.

Although, I never got any in my eye, I can imagine it would be painful. Some solution was spilled overnight once, and it broke down a new shiny nail, and made it look rusty.

How much solution per cleaning? Jan 20, 2010

I measured how much solution it takes per cleaning. It takes about 10 ml or 0.3 ounce per cleaning. Now you can figure how long a bottle will last.

I would highly recommend this to any and all contact-lens wearers. No separate cleanser to fool with, no weekly-enzyme mess, just Clear Care every night in the provided case. Just make sure you don't accidentally rinse with it prior to inserting contacts! My sister did this once and from what I hear it was quite painful.
